ACA Level 4 Coastal Kayaking ICE Workshop


 The ACA Level 4 Instructor Certification Exam (ICE) workshop assesses candidates on how they instruct a group of paddlers, manage the group, manage risk, handle the unexpected and more in Level 4 conditions: 15-20 knot winds, 3-5’ seas, 2-4’ surf and 2-4 knots of current.

  There are two components to ACA Instructor Certification: IDW & ICE. This is only the ICE, the assessment part of the process. Participants are expected to have attended an L4 IDW or be certified as an ACA L3 Instructor.
